Job Title: IT Manager

Job Number: IT-070

Reports to: Managing Director

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Education – College / Bachelors Degree
  2. At least 5 years’ experience as an IT (specialist, manager)
  3. Excellent computer troubleshooting skills (Operating Systems, Software, Hardware & Networking).
  4. Willing to be on 24 hour call.
  5. Organized, responsive and highly thorough problem solver.
  6. Good communications skills.

Authorities and Responsibilities:

  1. Manage information technology and computer systems.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures for electronic data processing and computer systems operations and development.
  3. Control the computer systems budgets and expenditures
  4. Investigate NOS employees computer problems and needs, identify their source, and determine possible solutions.
  5. Participate in the development, implementation, installation, and testing of applications software.
  6. Participate in the development of training materials and assist in conducting training and workshops in parallel processing and use of large computer systems.
  7. Investigate, recommend and install new applications.
  8. Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the network.
  9. Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.
  10. Responsible for designing and updating company website.
  11. Maintains records and documents related to their department following the ISO system.
