PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
LIME Calcium Hydroxide (Ca [OH] 2). It is used as a source of calcium and alkalinity in both water- and oil- based drilling fluids.

APPLICATION
LIME is used to increase pH, providing excess LIME, removing soluble carbonate (CO3) ions, controlling corrosion, and activating oil-based drilling fluids.
RECOMMENDED TREATMENT
- The amount of LIME may be added directly through the hopper; treatment depends on the desired density, viscosity limitations.
- Add lime for Low pH 0.5 - 2.0 lb/bbl, Medium pH 2.0 - 5.0 lb/bbl, High pH 5.0 - 15.0 lb/bbl.
PACKAGING
LIME is available in 25 Kg multi-ply paper sacks, palletized as 40 sacks per pallet.
