APPLICATION
CALCIUM BROMIDE is used for mixing high-density, solids-free in completion brines and workover fluids. It is readily soluble and can be added to the system at rates limited only by the capabilities of the mixing equipment.
RECOMMENDED TREATMENT
CALCIUM BROMIDE-P can be used to formulate single-salt brines or in combination with other dual-valence salts to form brines of the required density. The two most common combinations are with calcium chloride brines of densities up to 14.2 lb/gal, and with zinc bromide densities of 19.2 lb/gal.
PACKAGING
CALCIUM BROMIDE is available in 340 kg drums, palletized as 4 drums per pallet.
