PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Zinc Carbonate is a hydrogen sulfide scavenger used in drilling muds with good absorption speed due to its high specific surface. Zinc Carbonate is compatible with all water-based drilling fluid systems.

APPLICATION
ZINC CARBONATE reacts with H2S to form Zinc Sulphide which has an extremely low solubility in water (0.0096 g/cc.) and in reaction is not reversible.
RECOMMENDED TREATMENT
Zinc Carbonate is usually added at 3.75 - 8.0kg/m³ (1.5 - 3.0lbs/BBl) depending on requirements. Zinc Carbonate is a fully effective control for Hydrogen Sulphide.
PACKAGING
Zinc Carbonate is available in 25 kg plastic sacks, palletized as 40 sacks per pallet.
