PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
KWIKSEAL is a lost circulation material. It is a combination of mineral granules, mica flakes, and cellulitic fibrous materials varying in size, shape, and toughness.

APPLICATION
KWIKSEAL is a very effective lost circulation material when fracture or extremely porous zones are encountered. KWIKSEAL has been especially effective when utilized with high fluid loss 'squeeze plugs’. It is inert and does not interact with any drilling fluid components. It is unaffected by crude oil, acids or brines.
RECOMMENDED TREATMENT
- When adding KWIKSEAL to the mud and spotted opposite the loss zone (through open-ended drill pipe if possible) 30.0 to 40.0 lb/bbl has been very effective in sealing loss zones.
- When KWIKSEAL is utilized as a preventive measure, (2.5 to 5.0 lb/bbl) should be adequate for most conditions.
PACKAGING
KWIKSEAL is available in 40 lb (18.15 kg) multi-ply paper sacks, palletized as 40 sacks per pallet.
